Download this game from Microsoft Store for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows. Read the latest customer reviews, and compare ratings for Farm Up. With the help of Jennifer's husband and grandparents you'll be able to.
The Beginner’s Guide to Farm Up!Okay, so I’ve been playing for three days. Not kidding, that’s all I’ve played. However, I’ve figured out a few things/tricks during my gameplay that might be helpful to you. I’ve also collected some info from the “Things I wished I had known” thread as well.First, some things you should know. I am assuming you know how to get around the game and generally know what I’m talking about.I have not spent a dime on the game. I have 1500 blue jars, over 100,000 silver coins, and 208 gold coins. (I’ve also spent like 70 gold) I have restarted the game once.
First time through I reached level 18 and in my new game I’m currently level 15.Let’s get started!Quests: I would never have more than three quests started. There’s no need to click all those light bulbs. Just let them sit there; they ain’t going nowhere. LOL.As you begin, focus on quests given by the man by the mailbox and Jennifer’s quests.
To activate Jennifer’s quests, let her go idle and you need open quest slots. (Which is why I said only have three ever activated) If you focus on her and the farmer guy, you should unlock the husband.Next, do the same with the husband. Grandma is next to unlock and she’ll only show up if you do Jennifer’s quests and the husband’s quests. You’ll need to repair the Guest House and you’ll need the Brick Factory, which is 2,500 silver and maybe around 3 to 4 hours of labor – not sure, I forgot.Once Grandma comes, Grandpa is next to unlock. Remember to focus on the quests offered by Jennifer, the husband, and Grandma. To unlock Grandpa, you need to build the Sawmill (with the quest, although you can build it before the quest initiates) which is around 10 hours of labor.First time through the game, I didn’t have Grandma and Grandpa. Second time through, I do.There’s a quest that gives you a baby chick at one point.
However, that baby chick is glitched. You cannot sell it for some reason. I fixed this by buying three chickens before the quest began. Thus, no cursed chick in my pen.The business man will eventually give you a quest to build a Windmill for moles. I bought it and then, sold it right away. Moles are actually good, like butterflies. They give you blue jars and items from the Book Collection (300 exp & 1500 silver)Edited on at 8:31:29 AM PST.

The Butterfly Trick: I found this out by looking on the forums, but I’m repeating it. What you do is you go into the game and click on all the glowing butterflies. Then, you quickly go back to the main menu and return to the game. Wait a moment and more glowing butterflies will start up. Once you click them and they scatter, leave again. Rinse and repeat. I literally had like 200 butterflies on the screen when doing this. The glowing butterflies give you three things.
They give you items from the Field Collection (200 exp & 1000 silver) and less so the Pastry Collection (400 exp & 2000 silver). Plus they give you blue jars. Right there you have an unlimited source of silver.I heard from some people that it messes with the time with crops – meaning speeding up the time – but I haven’t experienced this yet. Still, I’d recommend that you don’t do this trick while you have unlimited energy in play in case this is true.Playing in unlimited energy: I’d suggest planting lots of crops, like 50 to 100 at a time.
Sometimes, I grind Radishes because by the time I’m done planting them all, they’re ready to harvest. And then I do that over and over. This gets you blue jars and collection items. I also do Cabbages, Tomatoes, and Potatoes this way, but those take longer to grow. This is a great time to rack up those blue jars. I don’t really spend this time earning silver, I use it to earn jars and advance in the game quickly.Other: Apparently the Snack Bar can give you a regular supply of extra energy. I haven't built it yet, so I can't confirm this.
Working on it now.Early in the game, be sure to place your chicken pen where you want it. Once it goes into disrepair, you can’t move it until Grandma and Grandpa come. I’d suggest near the barn, since Grandma walks around that area and she’s slow with the walking.Another thing is at one point you have to pay 10k tax.
In my first time, I got that quest, but in my second time, I still haven’t gotten it yet. So, while focusing on getting Grandma and Grandpa, you don’t have to worry about the tax yet if you avoid starting quests. There’s a dolphin in the water sometimes who gives blue jars and rarely 5 exp.Never buy more than 5 energy at a time with the blue jars. You lose jars if you buy the higher amounts.
It’s a pain and I don’t understand the logic behind it. You lose 1 jar per 10 and 12 jars per 20. One last thing: When you restart the game (20 gold), all your silver and gold transfer to the new game. But your achievements reset, meaning that you can reset the game over and over, completing achievements and never have want for gold. Remember to collect your collections before restarting – those reset, too. Of course, this causes you to start over, but it is an unlimited supply of gold. Thus, keeping this game a free game. Hi there, cat52!Yes, I did, thank you.
^^ I found the butterfly trick from that thread, actually; but wanted to mention it here as well because it fits excellently with a beginner's guide. I plan to go through that thread in more detail soon, but I did go through it to see the parts I thought were more about the game than actual game styles or preferences. If that makes sense. Haha.I found that a lot of people were having issues getting Grandma to come, so I thought I'd start this to help out.
